What's the bottom price for an x5 or 'pls value my car'

I have a 2000 4.4 V8 with 96k on it- service booked stamped up to about 50k and then a main dealer service at 94k. It has xenons, wide screen nav, new tyres and brakes, had a gearbox oil refresh, new rear subframe bushes and is about to have a new passenger window regulator and has also had the breather pipes replaced (not sure exactly what they are called so excuse me!!) along with the usual leather and climate and slightly temperamental parking sensors front and back.

My neighbour has expressed interest in buying it- it did have some electrical issues which I posted about here and they have been resolved so once the window is sorted it should be mechanically tip top but is a bit rough cosmetically- no rust just scrapes on the bumpers (light) and could do with a bloody good machine polish.

So what's the thinking on price- I was going to ask £3500 but there doesn't seem to be much about at that price with sub 100k but taking the cosmetics into account I think that's fair- what's the collective wisdom?

I don't really want to part with it and I really love driving it but it's a third car and means my 'proper' second car (z4m) doesn't get the use it deserves so it seems silly to keep it.

£3500 sound about right foe an early V8. If you are happy and your purchaser are happy that's good.
Problem is , with him being a friend and neighbour, if it goes seriously wrong in the future, will you still be friends?
Good luck with the sale  :)

If you are Open and Honest with him then that shouldn't be a problem..

He probably already knows the issues you have had by the amount of swearing coming from the garage???
O:-)

Thanks. The neighbour aspect isn't really a problem as we are moving out today!
