Bought myself a Cougar

Hello from Cumbria.
After years of wasting money on high depreciating late, low mileage 'super models' I've gone and bought a silicon enhanced Cougar in the shape of a 2002 4.6is.
Seems to have a pretty good spec' (heated & reclining rear seats, sliding boot floor, nav, DVD & headrest screens, cd changer, colour co-ordinated) but not sure what's standard and what are extras.
Has a few issues that I'll leave for later that I'm sure you 'experts' will be able to help me with.
Here she is....hopefully!

Hi and welcome and your title had me intrigued.

Now I have read the details you 4.6is has a good spec the heated rear seats and adjustable rears are options and quite rare I believe as is the sliding boot floor which is useful if you want to convert it to LPG as some gave done as the floor is slightly higher, again the silver running boards were an option.

I think the DVD and screens in headrest were probably aftermarket. The wheels and body kit front bumper rear lower diffuser and exhausts all standard 4.6is

A good choice you can be proud of.

Welcome aboard.

When able post the dimensions of the tyre sizes front and rear.

It might be down to camera angle but to me it looks as if the rears are a bit narrow.

315/35/20 rear and 275/40/20 fronts - I think.....is m sure someone will correct me if these figures are wrong

I too thought you were excited re a ford (or indeed even an experienced mature woman) :)

Must be a trick of the camera as the rears are indeed 315's
