There is a small cover next to the interior light on the drivers side of the tailgate. It's not access to the lightbulb as its is only on one side ...... ?

I have a feeling it might be the emergency boot release but i can't guarantee thatÂ

Apart from you'd also need to be on the inside to open it from there......
Slight flaw in the plan there me thinks O:-)
