Newbie here - Hello to all, just bought an 05 X5 3.0d....question, everytime it starts in the cold the heater unit is clicking from under the car, goes away after about 5 mins, I have not turned the webaso on, does it automaticaly come on when you start the car in cold weather?? is the clicking normal?? Not had an X5 before so still finding so many new toys on it!!!! Any thoughts would be welcome.....

Welcome Alex,

All assumptions are correct and normal. There is no off or on switch to the heater, it cones on at low temperatures and the ticking noise is the exhaust under the front passenger side...
