Can't tell as the dealer one could be late 07 as it's lower Co2 and lower tax bracket, if the data sheet is correct, and it comes with warranty. How good the warranty is , you would have to enquire. Do you need t PX as the others a private sale. Also you have some comeback with a dealer, none with a private sale.

Iv got a golf tdi i would maybe part ex just for convenience but its only worth £2500 trade in so if i was going to buy private id just sell it private.

the private one seems to be a better spec car i think the colour coded wheel arches and bumper trims make it look more upto date but id need to buy some Y spoke wheels for it and its the high tax group and as you say its a private sale so no warranty or come back if it turns out to be a dog of a motor.

The first car in link 1 looks as though the steering wheel may be worn a bit also and it does not have toys ie reverse cam, sunroof which could be a good thing in the long run after reading how much it cost to repair when it does eventually go wrong.
but it does have the 20"wheels and it would be easier to do a deal and part ex mine and a safer option

20" tires cost a lot more and the German forums say they wear out faster too.  If you drive it often, that adds up.

1st one, does not work anymore....I would go with the best condition and history car, then spec (as long as your must have kit is there)

I went for a black 57 plate with 20's, running boards and lower tax.
We plan to keep the car 4-5 years so that's a saving of around £1000 on road tax and the lower tax model is listed as having a very slightly better mpg.
Also if the car doesn't have 20's it will probably have the thinner wheel arches.
The other colours we looked at were silver and grey but I would of liked a fully colour coded car in these colours, IMO you can get away with the black plastic bumpers/ arches on a black car if you keep them clean and polished up with back to black or similar.
Also if the car didn't have sports suspension deleted when it was ordered its quite a hard ride on 20's, I have a new set of Michelin Latitude Sport 3's non run flat ready to fit to try and soften the ride up slightly.

The first car must be sold as the advert has been tuck off autotrader.

The link for the x5 it look like a nice motor but that interior is colour is awfull I'm after black car and black leather.

Is any one on here selling a nice x5

Ideally I would like one in lower tax group but don't think my budget is going to stretch that far they all seem to be a bit more money apart from that one in the first link.

I had a 2006 330d msport about a year ago I sold that as it was a manual and was a pig to drive I though really hard work the car just did not suite the manual box surely the ride in a x5 can't be as bad as a 3 series msport as I found the ride really hard in that with the run flats on.

Thinking of going to look at the car in the second link see what deal I can get on it iv been looking on eBay for some y spoke 20" alloys for about a £1000 used

[/quote]As far as I know the cars fitted with 20's as standard have the wider arches so its not just buy a set of 20's and put them on.
From memory the dynamic pack added 20's, wider arches and running boards but I am sure someone can confirm this.
Regarding ride all I can say is take one for a drive and see for yourself what it rides like but if the sports suspension wasn't deleted when ordered and its on 20' still on runflats it will be as hard as a 3 series m sport.
I think the cars with adaptive drive suspension are softer but again I am sure someone can confirm this.

that interior colour is absolutely stunning!!! for me, far classier than black, I had similar colour on my e60 m sport and loved it.

Ive got black leather now but would swap with that all day long!
