Absolutely outrageous and partly due to Dealers being forced to buy equipment they'll never need. My dealer was complaining about it a while back. Loads of items they neither need nor want, but which BMW say they have to have and will be billed for.
Especially an issue if they have 'I' cars.

Saying that I just paid £132. +vat for an hours labour at BMW but about £45 an hour for the smart car Indy
