Battery changed

Over the last few weeks I have had the tyre control inactive message on the dashboard, no other problems, I have reset it every so often and it stayed off for a day or two then came back on, so thought a sensor in the wheel needed replacing.
Last week the X would not start, so changed the battery for a bosch silver one, since then (touch wood) the message has not appeared. These cars are picky little buggers around their battery problems aren't they.

I changed to a Bosch silver around 2 years ago ironically on back of me failing to correcty diagnose an FSR failure...........new battery has been fine.

Still have old one as back up though in need of a charge to say the least.

I have the Bosch Silver too - now just over a year (the 95Ah rating) and it is VERY good.

I had the same in my wife's Golf before that was sold and EVERY time that car started on first crank. Need to get one for her replacement car too...

Just got hammered with about 4 inches of snow today (our first serious amount - only had one other day of it before)...

I'll go and one when I can get out!
