Yikes!
Went to get in the car this am and water poured out of the foot well.
Car is parked on a grass verge with LHS of car on the incline so water would tend to pool on R side if that makes sense.
Rained a lot of course overnight.
Is something blocked?

Re: Drivers Footwell Flooded!!
I've not experience this on my X5 but have had a similar problem with a previous car. It was caused by the drain tubes from the sunroof surround being blocked, which caused rain water to run down inside the interior trim rather than out through the bottom of the car. Mine was nowhere near as bad as yours though, and only caused saturated carpets.

Thanks
Yes it started a few weeks ago as wet carpets but this morning was comical......half expected some fish to be flip flopping about!
Cheers for the advice!

Also check behind the door cards in case the membrane has detached which will allow water in too.

Blockage in driver side sunroof drain unblocked with a twig!
Loads of water then pissing from drain under driver side of car.
I wouldn't advise using a twig for obvious reasons.

Glad you found it. At least the weather should be improving so the carpets can dry out again.
