Newbie from Lancashire

Post by 3MSW » Fri May 09, 2014 7:01 pm

Hi, picked up my 04-reg X5 sport on Wednesday and loving the thing.

Already used the forum to solve a non-working rain sensitive wipers issue (pulled plug on sensor behind rear view mirror reverting them to manual four speed intermittent selection).

Just need to address the parking sensor constant tone issue and the missing gear display in the instrument cluster and I'm laughing!

Hi and welcome to the forum, it good you have managed to solve the wipers, I know there are a lot of posts about the parking sensors and how to test and fix them.

Look forward to seeing pics of your car in due course

No idea sorry - perhaps indicate which engine you have - you can add that to your signature .. That way folk can offer more specific replies if you discuss engine later.

Welcome btw :)

I did research on DRLs for my 2004 facelift and they can't be turned on with my 1.4.0 scanner but you can activate the auto lock with it ,
