Hi, before we took delivery of the car I put a picture in the newbie section saying I would post more when we got it
We have done a few subtle changes, when we viewed the car the wheels were a bit scuffed so the garage said they would refurb them, and we could choose the colour. We chose Ferric Grey and changed the centre caps for carbon fibre ones.
We then de-badged the car and changed the main BMW badges for carbon fibre ones to match the wheels.
A few more jobs to do, I have treated all the black plactic trim with C4, I am going to take the wheels off and treat with C5 and at the same time paint the calipers the same colour as the wheels. The car needs a good polish to remove some minor swirls and scratches and then finish with a good wax.
The interior is black and oyster with light wood bur walnut trim, at some point in the future I will probably change this to Grey carbon fibre along with the stearing wheel badge.
Thanks for looking, we have only had the car a couple of weeks and love it already, just to finish off here is a picture of our old E61 and our new E70. Tony

Maybe we need to respry the car then
These are big imposing cars with big wheels, having the wheels a similar colour we thought would tone things down a little (that was the theory anyway) Silver may have looked better but we wanted something different and we did not think black would have worked.
Here is another picture after a quick polish at the wekend

Hi, the X is looking good. I do like both the style and colour of your wheels, nice job. Have you considered wrapping the interior trim rather than replacing?

Thanks Don, yes I was thinking of wrapping the trim, not sure what colour to go for Silver, Dark Grey or Black (all in carbon fibre effect).
