A-Z Address book overload?

I am probably missing something but after pairing my Blackberry (I know its an old phone) with the car, the A-Z address book in iDrive displays letters A to P.. (with the 2 dots) but no more. I can't get letters Q to Z and haven't found any instructions how to do this. Selecting P and scrolling down just stops at the end of P's.

There are over 1,000 contacts in the phones address book and I wonder if there is an address limit in the iDrive address book.

Does anyone know if there is a limit or how to get past letter P.. ? Or am I doing something stupid?
