You may remember commenting that you wondered what it would look like to have the centre portion of the rear aero splitter in a contrasting colour...

Well I got curious too...

I knew once I did this I would have to finish the job  )



I figured its only vinyl and I can get it redone when I get my sidesteps wrapped if I decide to. I like it like this though, so will keep it as is I think. In all white it never looked quite right to me, perhaps because I already have the contrasting black roof and spoiler.

Well.  It looks as I thought.  Very blooody nice

It was a white out literally before!!! now it ties everything in, and shapes the rear end much better.  Bet it looks even better in the flesh aswell as you can see definition of the aero kit etc!! really like it.

Does look good with the black on a white car, our E70 is black and I thought about doing the middle of the aero kit silver but when I dropped the kit off today at the paint shop I decided to just leave it all black.
This is one I found on the net:-

You can never go wrong with a bit of contrast, although the silver on black looks like the x6 front.

Found this picture as well but I am probably going to stay all black as planned:-

I saw an all black with the aero kit and it looked very good. Stealthy. I'm not sure what to think of the aero in part silver in those pics.

Yeah, I take your point. I have considered it, but never committed to doing anything about it.
