Absolutely guttered

Post by Jalf » Fri Dec 10, 2010 1:38 pm

With all the snow over the last few weeks/months (feels like it already) my roof is covered, a good three foot in places and the gutters are not coping, loads of them have just given up and I think a full refit is in order once the weather improves.

Mine is modern plastic and its been really rubbish so far, I've had a look on the net but I'd rather go off actual peoples recommendations, whats the best snow proof guttering out there? quite fancying heated ones too but that might be overkill.

I have just spent 6k on new guttering, still not put up :) It is by Alutec, is 3mm thick aluminum guttering, very high quality.

I went for the Evolve Deepflow range.

My Parents-in-Law just had all their guttering changed to a powder coated Ali system as they are in a listed building which limited them to metal only. It was all extruded on site out the back of a van and looks really good. They're in S Wales and I can find out more if you wish.......?
