What are people using if not BMW dealer pads and rotors? Brembo? Pagid?

Pads are due in 1200mls, rears in 3000mls, and i think both set of rotors as well (maybe not on the rear), so now is a good chance to see if there's any upgrades about.

Discs have a lip forming so i assume they need changing. Nothing in the service book about them being changed, maybe they were when i bought it on 50k mls, now on 90k mls. Bought it through a dealer, so depends how generous they were feeling when it was inspected.

Pagid or Textar are the OEM types.  My only front disc change was at 55k.  Some owners have yet to need new discs at much greater mileage.

I used Brembo and was very happy but I believe some others emit less brake dust.  I had patten parts before and the squeal and dust were awful.
