Right, when does it raise lower etc? Ive had an instance when car parked on the drive opposite way to the norm. Anyways, was admiring her from window to then look and think hang on, why does it look so low?? rear end looked real low lol like an estate car ( exaggerating Bit )
Anyways, start car, get out and watch it raise up. Never done it again since.
Do e70's drop when in park? or something along those lines?

We have had ours about 4 months now and I have never seen it lower or pump its self up, I think you can hear the pump from time to time though.

same here, have never seen it raise or lower except for this occasion, but only thing which I can think different was that front wheels were parked on a slope and rear wheels were on a flat surface, so was it trying to level based on that?

I hear mine all the time, whilst driving sometimes, or if I take anything heavy out of the boot.
The majority of the time its after switch off and exit the vehicle.

I think I have a leak on the passengers side bag as over night it drops on one side I think. Pumps up in seconds after starting car, and stays inflated throughout day. Calling supplying garage tomorrow as its still in its 3 month warranty.

I switched from a pre-LCI 30D SE to our current 40D M Sport in September: in the three years we had the 30D, I think I heard the suspension compressor come on about three times, total. The 40d is another matter - most times I've been running around locally (farm tracks and single track roads hereabouts), I hear the compressor running for a few seconds after I get out. Slightly different design or have I got an air leak somewhere?

Well turns out my passengers side airbag was leaking. New one fitted today at dealership for£390 including diagnostics. Which dealer I had car from is covering cost of. So all sorted now!!
