I have been lurking in here for a few months now with the intention of learning as much as I could before buying an X5. I would like to thank everyone for some great information, earlier today I bought an E70 40D SE in Platinum Grey with just under 20,000 miles on the clock. 

It has got the following options.

Dynamic package
Media package with DAB radio
Panoramic sunroof
Adapiive headlights
Reversing camera with top view
Powered bootlid
Soft close doors
Sport seats with lumbar support
High beam assist
Speed limit display
Sun protection glass
Blinds on rear windows
Electric towbar-towing capacity increased
CD changer

The garage are going to refurbish all 4 wheels and fit 4 new tyres, it has 6 month tax, 1 year MOT and 2 years warranty, all for £31,990.00.  The garage Bowker of Blackburn have been great, they even brought the car out to us so we could check it out and take it for a test drive, I would thoroughly reccommend them.
It will be ready in a couple of weeks so already counting down the days.
