Steering wobble under braking.

Hi, our 57 X5 has developed a slight wobble on the steering wheel under breaking but nothing on the pedal.
New front discs and pads done by BMW 3.5k ago, could it be front wishbone bushes?, had the very same symptoms on our E46 and it was worn rear bushes on the front wishbones causing it.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I have had this on a few cars over the years and its ranged from, sticky caliper, warped discs and unbalanced tyres

My money would be on a buckled wheel or warped brake discs.

Thanks for the reply's, I will check for buckled wheels and tracking first.
I have also brought a clock gauge home from work ready to check the run out on the disks but they were changed by BMW about 3.5k ago.
I had a look at my MOT advisory and it was lower front suspension arm bushes have slight play, we had the exact same symptoms on our 3 series when braking and the cause was actually the front wishbone bushes at fault so I am going to have a look there as well.

There are lots of posts on the E53 forum about this. I have an E53 and had same issues. Similar set up

It can be any of the following
tyre damage
tyre pressure
damaged wheel
wheel balance
warped discs
sticky caliper/piston
tracking issue
But for me and many others it was the front control arm bushes ......
