Has anyone got theses and what do you think about them.
Also are they easy to install.

I thought the lux v4's had some coding issues with the X6??

Not sure haven't seen anything hope not ordered now.
It says on bimmian that there compatible.

Have the V3's and are very pleased with them. A doddle to fit as well once you get the ballast and the colour change switch unit (on yours) inside the headlight housing they are plug and play.

They are great as I have them on my M3 but I asked Bimmian if they would work and they say they can bring up dash errors.  Here is the reply i got...

Hi Andrew,

The LUX is the same base lock in install as this set purchased. Namely it replaces the H8 halogen bulb. So yes it will FIT. The only issue could be with error codes. The X6 is a bit more finicky with that and the LUX has no provision to adjust this IF that is an issue. The WeissLicht version is modular and a larger error canceler can be introduced if needed. The LUX it either works or not.

But they are similar in design of the BULB and base, just different in execution of the final output. Both use the CREE LED's so about the same brightness. The LUX having the ability to slightly change the color variation is it's only difference but is not a large variation IMO.

What year of x6 where you talking about

can you not try ones in your M3 on x5 or x6 etc?

Lost you don't have m3 and ordered the lux before I have even takin delivery of my x6.
But don't like the standard lights to yellow.

All the HID equipped cars up to the LCI version use H8 lamps for the rings.  Yours should have LED rings already?

lol i havent read the thread atall all i looked at was comment on whether or not lights would work when question posed to bimmian.  Ignore me. 

If you look at mac1206 headlights on his 2014 x6 post (just picked up my new x6) the headlight are yellow.
CONFUSED.

LCI x5 comes with led LCI x6 does not.

OK in that case the few around here must all have full LED headlights fitted as an option which do come with them.
