Dog proofing E70

Hi Folks

I am just in the process of moving from the E53 forum to the E70 forum!  I have traded my old E53 for a nearly new E70

We have two big dogs, who like to shed hair and mud wherever they go!

We want to get a cover that is sturdy and not too slippery (is so the dogs don't skid around in the boot).  I have seen the BMW part on BMW Direct's ebay store

It looks a little tacky in the small picture and I can't find any product details.

There is a reasonable looking product at UK custom covers:

that is half the price of the BMW one.

Does any one have any experience of these?

Also do people fit the OEM BMW dog guard

Look on e bay or gumtree you will them for a fraction of those prices.

I bought the UKcustomcovers liner and the quality and fit is awesome..  it takes a little while to prep the plastic surfaces to stick the velcro to, but once its in, it follows all the edges and recesses of the entire boot/cubby hole area.

Plus i like the fact it has a flap to protect the tailgate from our Ridgeback's claws, and the 60/40 split-seat function for when i carry long items to the tip.

Personally, I would defo buy again.

I use a custom liner by boot buddy specific for an X5 E70,fit is fantastic and looks good.
