Anyone fitted the Dynavin DVN-E39A?

I'm getting gadget withdrawal .. my E53 doesn't have the sat nav unit, has the loudspeaker system (which is much better than my M3 was!)
this DVN-E39A unit seems to tick a box or two ... question is - it is worth trying to fit yourself, or best to get someone that has more than a hammer and one screwdriver in their tool box?

I had a Dynavin D99 E39a headunit in my X5.
They do the job ok but the cd changer packed in after 6 months, the radio reception wasn't brill, but that's common with aftermarket Chinese units.
If you had the MID unit and single CD setup you have to hack out some of the dash, so the original won't go back in. There is no proper fixings, so it relies on duct tape and packing. Wiring is fairly simple as there is an adapter loom and canbus bog, aerial adapter. If you have OEM satnav you need to run a Fakra cable to the boot area to the original radio module.but the dash won't need cutting out.
I've got a Chinese headunit on order for my Golf, that fits on the original fixings, so should be an easier fit, also half the price of the Dynavin.
I bought the Dynavin from a UK seller on EBay, so had to send it back to them for repair.
Edit, may not be compatable with DSP, check first before you buy one, and check out Andrive units , search the forum there was an in depth thread on them.
