Hi gents, can anyone help me out with a tyre pad rating question?
I need to replace both front tyres on my 3.0d.
Currently on there is some Achilles Desert Hawk 255/50/R19 107V
Looking to add some Toyo Proxies to match the ones recently fitted on the rear. Which are 285/45/R19 107V
The ones I've found (one new / one 7mm tread nearly new) I can get for £100 all in delivered.
They are 103V rating.
I've checked the inner door label but want to make sure I've got the correct info.
Any issues to having 107V tyres on the rear & (same brand) 103V tyres on the front?

Tyre load rating help
Re: Tyre load rating help
If the rating plate says 107 on the car then you must not go below it. You can go higher, but not lower.
The difference in this case is 100kgs less load capacity per tyre at 103 - or 200kgs across the front axle.
To use under-rated tyres could invalidate your insurance.

Thanks Richard.
Rating plate from the inside door is as below. Two pics showing left side & right side.
It mentions 255/50/R19 103V on the first pic there. So will they be legal on the front? with 107V rated Proxies o the rear?

Re: Tyre load rating help
103 is fine for the front. That's what the Michelin Diamaris fitted at the factory are.
