£1000+ per mile depreciation

In the local dealers today and they have a year old M6 with 41 miles on the clock that cost £115000 new and now £70000.  There's probably discount to be had on that price as well.

Always said buying brand new was a killer. That's quite heavy for so little mileage.

Saying that I saw a blue X6M in dealers with list of over £ 90k and on offer at £70k -what a bargain.  :))

But if you look at X5m they are now below £40k and they were £90k new that depreciation can really hurt your pocket.

M6 have always had savage depreciation becaus they are far too over priced in the first case!

That makes me feel a wee bit better about taking a £7k hit on my X5 in 12months/12k miles.
Mind you, it works both ways, as the i bought a 2011 X640d for £30k, which has lost more than 50% of its value in less than 3 years... :blink:

Yes...i know it was cheap because its PINK.... ;)
