PDC Failure

wonder if someone could help. I know these have been a problem on x5 e70 for a while, No red,yellow,green on the screen, no bleeping, screen show camera malfunction, any idea,
if did notice water in the inner rear light, which i have now sort with new seals, but there was rust inside the bot lid, which could have got into camera, would this be PDC module.? wiring harness. not sure what to change first, what diagnose could i undertake first
it driving me mad,
