Hello everyone

My names Dan and just recently purchased a Toledo Blue 3.0D, its a 2004 facelift model with towbar (ugly)

This is my first 4x4 as I am used to smaller cars!  My other car is a Focus RS Mk1 which is currently in the garage being prepped for track days this year.

I must say that I love the X5!  Been after one for years!

Car seems to be behaving itself at the moment but there are a few things I want to get done to it!

I have Xenons that require the halo lights to be changed to give them the white ring instead of dirty yellow!
Car will be getting a full machine polish and wax
Full refurb on wheels
Plastics inside wrapped in carbon (if this looks cheap then will be done in black)

I do require the cargo load cover though in black and if anyone knows anyone selling any then please send them my way :)

Anyway off to read up loads on the car and see what goodies I can treat myself to!

Welcome.

The Halo fix is a simple one, but very few (if any) of the after market options will give you the equivalent brightness of the current LED versions on new BMWs.

I bought a set of LEDS from Hids4u which were straight plug and play and took 5 mins to change both.

Cargo covers are rare, but keep an eye on ebay.

Any of these should do the job.  HIDS4U don't have them in stock at present.  I had 5W units in mine and those were early generation ones at about £30 a pair.  You change the whole thing out.  You should be able to find UK kits too.  HIDSDirect is another possible source.
