Hi, brought a 2004 x5 sport last week and love it  :) how ever it likes to drop its screenwash every couple of days as in all 7.8 litres, filled it up when I brought the car and a couple of day later it came up with low screen wash on the dash. It has front rear and headlight washer pumps and as of yet not found the leak. There is no obvious leaks and cannot see where under the car is wet due to the amount of rain. Took the washer bottle out a couple of days ago and every thing looked ok apart from the 'o' ring where the pipe for the head lamp washer plusg onto the pump. Off work friday so will have another look as its becoming a pain not having any.  Any usual faults I should look out for or is it just a matter or replacing things til its fixed.
Thanks

Pump seals are quite common.  Where the pumps sit in the tank.  It's been on here a few times.

If you have a brake/fuel pipe clamp (plastic one) you could pinch a pipe off to eliminate leaks down that line.

Mine used to do this when I bought it. The problem was a join in the pipe leaking behind the drivers side headlight. I removed the fog light and I could just get my fingers in to hold the pipe while putting my other hand down behind the light to push the pipes together. The front bumper needs to come off if you can't get to the joint this way.

mine leaks occaisionally from the rubber gaskets where the pumps fit into the reservoir.
