Hi All,

I am afraid my insurance is due ta the end of the month (bad timing I know). Apartr from the usual suspects (Confused.com and gocompare.com) has anyone come across or got any recommendations about particular insurers that I should try?

Thanks

LV.com (Liverpool Victoria) for me on both our cars, one of the best rated insurance companies around (5* Defacto) and give a multi car/product discount.

A quick tip, never accept a renewal quote and always shop round. If you get what you think is a good quote from a comparison site always go to the company direct for a quote as it can and offen is cheaper direct. Once you have your best quote go back to your original ins co. and get them to price match or better if they want to keep your business. A bit of leg work I know but has worked for me over the last 3-4 years of renewals.

Jay, does it come with Clubcard points too?! :D

Renewed mine last week. As said previously, I went back to elephant.co.uk with a cheaper quote from my previous insurer Admiral and saved £120! So worth the couple of hours online/telephoning. Funny thing is they are all part of the same group (Bell/Admiral/elephant)

I just got my renewal through and I think it's about £200 more expensive than the last time, need to check up on that, I'll be shopping around

All of our insurance renewals went up in this year which was a surprise even the house was increased by over £100, we just used the compare sites after and reduced all of them. I will say though the increases have been really high this year I so look forward to next year.

Swift cover for me  cheapest by a long way ..it's a complete lottery though depending on where you live is the car garaged etc.
No traker required for swift either and no difference in price if you have one fitted or not.
