AA Cover

Post by dwgwyther » Fri Dec 03, 2010 6:11 pm

Hi All I had to call the AA out today for a flat battery, I had joined this week and got the full cover; Roadside assistance, National recovery, At home - ideal for winter, Parts & garage cover for 1 car, all for £141 which is a decent price, but the deal clincher is the Parts and Garage cover which is unbelievable you can claim up to £500 I think its six claims a year you are allowed so as the AA man said when he was here it may have been the cold but just in case as I have the parts and garage cover take it to a garage and they will fit a new battery with on £25 excess, so basically I will have free AA cover for a year as I'm sure a new battery which I would have had to buy would have been more than that on my 4.8.
So I recommend to all. Hope this helps as I’m pretty sure there are a few others out there with dodgy batteries.

darren,
i have just started a similar cover also,
but bear in mind the 14 day start period before any claims accepted! i have a week to go before my dodgy battery will unfortunately need replacing ;)
