About 3 years ago I had the dreaded battery drain. Stuck in a new Bosch Silver S5 (and then a new starter too) and all was fine
Visited family over Christmas and the car was sat on their drive for four days then started beeping and flashing the lights and the battery was almost dead. Jump started it - took it for a spin and all was fine. Previously its sat around for over a week without a problem
I noticed that when I got it going the wipers started going as they had been in the on position but obviously ignition was off - could this be the culprit?

Hi,
Do you think disconnecting the battery briefly works on these cars ?
Something might need 'resetting' ?

no-one?
Could the wiper switch ion on position but ignition off possibly have drained the battery or is that not possible?

Seems a bit unlikely. I thought the car going to sleep shut things like that down.
