... in that it won't open from the outside - inside handle works fine.  :(

I know there's been a lot of examples of this in the E53 forum but a search didn't reveal anything in the E70 forums.  It has been very cold here recently - down to -25 Celsius or so, which I suspect has contributed to this.  Car still under warranty (until mid-February) so it's off to the dealer soon.
