Hi. I am facing problems with the CD player, it works fine for days but stops time to time with message 'CD error'. The CD player is not working from yesterday and I am not sure what the problem could be.

Possibly giving up due to a well documented laser problem in the unit?  Repairs can be done DIY if you are competent or there are electronics guys who will repair / replace the laser.  But before you replace it with another unit or repair it, its worth cleaning it with one of those CD cleaning discs. Also, are you using your own burned discs or commercial CD's? Some of the players seem fussy with home burned discs.

There are often units for sale on ebay or even on the forum as people move more to digital, if cleaning the laser with a cleaning disc does not help, it may make sense to find a working used unit at a good price before repairing your own.
