Music stored in internal HDD

So finally got round to importing music to the cars HDD at the weekend.  I think its a pretty good feature.

However I have a question:

I have USB1 and USB2 folders that were imported. (as the imports contained different albums and were imported at different times)

If I am playing a track from USB1 and want to browse USB2, the only way I can find to do this is select USB2, which then stops the track currently playing and starts playing the first track on USB2.  I can then browse the folders in USB2 and select the album I wish to hear.

My question is, is there a way of browsing the USB2 folder while a track from USB1 is playing? or is the only way to browse the folder is to have a song playing from it first?

Same happens in reverse, if I am listening to USB2 and wish to browse USB1.

Slightly annoying thats all....

Unless I delete both USB1 and USB2 and then reimport the lot it one go?

I think what you are seeing us the norm.  The on board system isn't that clever.  Best thing will be as you think, put both onto one drive and work that way.  If memory serves the USB port in the glovebox goes to the CIC and that in the armrest to the Combox unit.

Not sure what limit you have on yours, but it was 11GB max from 2010 less (8.5GB I think?) on earlier cars.  The rest is mainly nav system.
