I have always lusted after the X5/6M & in some ways my 4.8is was pretty pointless...but I still loved it loads but these are just something else again & if my numbers ever came up one would be in my garage straight away.

Do they cross an m3 into x5 practicality. Didnt realise till other day that there value is the only thing falling faster than there fuel gauge!! ::)

I was quite stunned how quick both were in the videos! To sure if standard o modified but either way impressive.
Iirc I think the x5m was approx 80 to 90k when new, and I have seen them around 40-45k mark last year.
I think the fact it's a petrol one puts people off them, but if you can afford 90k then I would guess a tank of fuel is the least of your worries.

I haven't seen that many on the road I think I've seen three in total & I always think the owner must have plenty of money because its not the purchase price so much but keeping one of them in fuel would take some doing, the 12 mpg I used to get in mine I thought was a challenge...these things must drop into single figures if you drive with any intent!
What's also incredible is they have sold more than the Z4M ever did as other country's love them because they don't have crippling fuels prices that we have.

Probably just me, but regardless off wealth, I wouldn't have an X5/6m. The 50d ticks so many boxes that the petrol monster doesn't add enough for me. I would have a super car and a 50d as the everyday run around.

I understand your mindset if you want a big engined fast car go for that & I agree lots of diesel torque suits a big heavy machine well & in our country a fuel guzzling 4x4 petrol doesn't make that much sense.

There are only 151 licensed according to 'how many left'. Not exactly a big seller then......
My Dealer told me that an unnamed Gov't Service had bought a few second hand demos from Dealers.

If true, you have to ask why?
