HI HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE AIR FILTER ON A 2011 40D AS IM LOOKING AT PUTTING A K AND N TYPE IN

Lift up the cover on top of the engine and it exposes the pancake style filter.

Don't think fitting a K&N will do anything except burn a hole in your pocket.

Also be careful that the oiled filter doesn't ruin any airflow sensors downstream of the filter if it is an oiled type.
