Electrical drawing E53
Re: Electrical drawing E53
i have looked over this with interest as my aux heater is playing up a bit.
the section on the aux heater makes mention of pulling a 5a fuse in position 30 to do a reset, but i dont know where that fuse is!
in my fuse box the aux heater is on fuse 59 but thats a 20a and has no effect with removal.

Hi There is some fuses in the boot mentioned on another forum drivers side. One mention remote unit. It has the 5amp in it. What about pulling the power plug of the top of the unit. That might reset it. worth a try. Does yours work with the constant 12v on pin 1 when the engine is off. It does need a 12v constant supply. use a multimeter if you have one to see what voltage you have when the car is off.
