Andrive & Webasto

Hi all, it's been a while since I've put a post on here but I'm looking for some help from all you knowledgable folk!

I have a 2004 e53 diesel. The Webo has never worked since I've owned the car. Last winter I pulled the fuse on it because the whirring of the Webo fan was annoying & a potential battery drain.
This winter I've decided to look into the issue of its non working.
During the summer I purchased & fitted an Andrive unit. Will this prevent the Webo from working? Does the Webo need a signal from the old OBC?

I ask this because I've read so many posts on here ref Webo & a few have said that have activated 'ext heat', obviously something I can't do from the Andrive.

Anyway I have also just taken delivery of a second hand Webo from Fab Direct. This unit does absolutely nothing at all, no whirs, clicks, nothing!
My old unit runs the fan every time a door is opened, closed, locked etc but that's it. I've run 12v to the dosing pump & get spurts of fuel so that's ok.

I've taken my unit out today & stripped it down, thoroughly cleaned, re soldered a couple of what looked like dry joints on a triac but it's still the same.

I need help & fast! I'm desperate to get it running & I'm very jealous of all those that have it working in their cars!

It's a very informative thread & with a little knowledge (& a steady hand) it's quite an easy & very cheap fix.
Happy days for me & very very chuffed with myself!! 1 resistor & 1 capacitor....job done!
