TV Module question

Post by sonny007 » Thu Nov 21, 2013 11:14 am

Hi,

If i buy a TV module, would it be just a simple plug and play?
Or do I need extras?

Sure you want that - Lithuania mate...

Should be plug and play but you should check you have the correct connections down there first. Is this just for the reverse camera? No other options available to you?

Lithuania, the seller has good feedback.

Shouldnt the wires be tucked under the mat?

Yes, for the reverse camera, couldnt find anything else  :(

If faulty - returns is a bitch.

Under the map? You mean in the boot, under the floor, compressor and plastic surround by the battery.

At that price are we sure it's not just an analogue tuner?

You can bolt on a digital after market module though - the route I'll probably go down as the OEM digi units seem a bit pricey.

Doesn't sonny want it for the reversing camera?

From what I can gather something like this -[url=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181105292385? ... 1438.l2649[/url] attaches to the analogue unit and provides digital TV, but you need the analogue unit first.

Correct.  The camera has an analogue NTSC output.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
