Hi Guys,
Thought i would do a little intro as i have been looking around here for a while now and thought it was time to say hi rather than lurking around in the background!
Well the time has come for the trusty VW R32 to make way for something a little more family friendly with hobbies/ dog/ her shopping habit & a kid in the not so distant future!
So after 6 months of searching auto trader for a replacement car that would firstly be suitable for my fishing/shooting hobbies in terms of space as well as providing a decent level of comfort on my 50 mile hack to work and back on a daily basis and secondly give her absolutely nothing to moan about (not sure that is possible!) the mighty X5 has been chosen!
After reading the X5 E53 buyers guide (very well written by the way ) I have been searching for an ideal model that would keep me happy for the next few years of motoring.
So i have spent the last few weeks searching and viewing X5's in and around my area, With the intentions of finding a 2005 X5 3.0d sport with less than 75,000 miles on the clock. Plenty in my local area to view from the cheap and nasty to the nearly showroom condition.
Today i viewed an example that i had my eye on for the last week or so and think that i have found the one for me!
So hopefully in a weeks time i will be here starting to contribute to this great forum rather that spying on all your posts while gathering all the info i can!
Thanks in advance
Ash
