Hi,
I have the 2005 e53 3.0d and everytime i lock/unlock the car, the indicator lights flash.
Is there a way to have an acoustic sound, as my 320i use to do this...
Also can I do the following-
Upon arming the car- Acoustic/indicator signal, side mirrors to fold and front headlight to stay on for 10 seconds.
Disarming- Acoustic/indicator signal, Side mirrors to open and headlights to stay on for 10 seconds.

Using a Scanner 1.4 you can get the acoustic sound or visit an Indy and he can do it (but for the money you spend on the Scanner, you'll easily pay that to an Indy).
The lights can't be made to stay on unless you do some clever wiring (I think). Some forum members have done it, but not possible out-of-the-box (I could be wrong).
The folding mirrors is only possible with an Intravee, but best avoided - these mirrors tend to wear a lot quicker when you have this setting on. I don't you use it.

Currently bidding on the scanner 1.4.0
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281206540823? ... 1426.l2649
Whats the max I should increase my bid too? I also have a £5.00 voucher to use with ebay.
Will the software work properly on windows vista laptop? I heard it should be only used with windows xp, but I dont have one
Have read quite a bit about this scanner and watched some vids on youtube. Pretty cool kit.
Power folding side mirrors work great on mine, but I guess I should only use them when most needed.

The later firmware versions of the Intravee allow you to set entry and exit lights very handy! You can even set it to each light individually too!

There is a way of leaving the headlights on for 30 secs without having to re-programme .
If , when you have turned off the ignition and removed the key , you 'flash' the headlight stalk before leaving the vehicle , the lights will stay on for a pre-determined time as a security measure . Mine stay on 30 secs .

I use the scanner software on my win 7 laptop. If I remember correctly I think the secret was to install the drivers off the cd before plugging the scanner in.
