I'm now in an X5

I eventually found one, and it looks like a good one.

2002 3.0d sport
Topaz blue with hellbeige heated electric leather with lumber
Xenon lights
Auto headlights & wipers
Aluminium footplates
Sat Nav
DSP
CD changer
TV
Voice Control
Telephone prep handy Motorola
Autodip interior mirror
Privacy glass

Last owner for 7 years, FSH including recon gearbox, recon turbo, new injectors and battery in the last 18 months.

The only faults I can find is a small dent in the rear bumper, oxidisation of the drivers door mirror alloy and the nearside mirror puddle light doesn't light.

The car has a pile of papers including the full owners pack. It even has 4 keys.

Just need to work out what I can do with the Motorola handy phone thing & get a digital bolt on box for the TV.

The facelift version would've been better. But congratulations on your purchase  ::)

Whats the mileage on her?

I fully understand and appreciate that the facelift is a better car - if it wasn't BMW had got it very wrong.

I actually prefer the look of the original X.

She's got 94k on her with probably the best service history I've seen on any car.

I'm very happy.
