If I fit the andrive unit on the E53, will it retain the auxiliary heater?

I've just asked a similar question as I already have the Andrive fitted & can't get my Webo to work. If I hear anything I'll let you know

I've just got my Webasto working & I have Andrive fitted. So in response to your original question...."yes you can".

Is this via an additional remote?

I haven't got that far yet but did +12v pin 1.
I've yet to try it on a cold enough morning but when I do I'll let you know the outcome.

I havnt even tested the heater yet. Was wondering to do a test while i sit in the car. Would that work, or do i need to leave the car off for a certain period?

it doesn't matter whether you're in or out of the car

Ooh I wasn't aware of these.
I was about to spend £100+ to get bluetooth working with my Note 3, but I guess this has bluetooth built-in?
My man-maths means I need one of these! :xmastongue:
Does the E39 version slot straight in to your E53?

Yes it slots straight in, nice fit on the actuall fascia but you'd need a security cage (from halfords) with a little modifying to fix it in the cars recess.
