Did some X5's have wider arches?

Hi, I have just bought a nice used set of genuine BMW mud flaps from ebay that came off a 07 E70 X5 but they don't fit my 07 X5
. It looks like our plastic arches are wider, did BMW do a wider arch as an option with 20" rims?

AFAIK the msport arches as wider than se.

[/quote]I think your are right, I have just looked on real oem and it does list another arch for 20" wheels. I only paid £20 for the mud flaps so if I can't modify them to fit they will be going back on ebay.

MSports with 20" have wider arches but the mudflaps do fit just fine. Think there is a little trimming to the arch somewhere or maybe the mudflap. My car is an M Sport with 20s, dealer fitted the mudflaps so I'm not sure what was involved.
