Afternoon all,
New to the site but after some advice...... I'm looking at lowering my recently purchased 3.0 sport 2001 E53 and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good kit to purchase for a reasonable price! Thanks in advance

I got my front springs off of Shadrack on here so it may be worth asking him what spring they are as they sit nice and the drop is perfect
For the rear you need two of these

If you ring them they will sell you a pair for just the rear I think it was about £60.00 they sent me a Paypal invoice and sent them out the next day great to deal with.
Put the front springs on and then just adjust the rear to suit
You can do the rear with a computer but I preferred this way.

Cheers Stewart, I've seen the air ride site and did wonder if they were any good. He recommended the h&r springs but they do seem quite expensive for 2 coil springs! Thanks very much for the info, Rich

I believe Eibach do 2 kits. 1 for front/rear and the other for just front. Looks like the front only kit is about £160 isn and drops it about 30mm and is specific for the 3.0i due to the slightly lower front kerb weight.

Have you thought about going with a full front/rear kit and removing the air suspension at the rear?

To change the rears isn't a massive job compared to the fronts. You need springs and perches for the rears. You can get away with usin the existing shocks. Fronts are more work as its standard setup so complete shock/springs out and change out springs accordingly.
