hi guys
frost and wear and tear and my heavy hand has now knackered my outer drivers door handle carrier, have stripped it out was just wondering has anyone replaced one of these before and where did they buy and how much ??
a very tricky job

mine has gone exactly like that one shown. is the zip tie still holding?
thought to do that with mine but dont want to in and out of there too much if it goes again!!!

I'm the mug! It wasn't even on my car!!! It was on Jeegnesh's!!! He's not complained so I guess it is still fine. Do it and do a search for one on eBay as and when they come up! I think $tealers are quoting £61????

I repaired mine yesterday followed Sanjs how to.used a cable tie and is working fine

luckily, i read this thread the other day and the 1st thing i thought was "oh no, the handle is surely gonna freeze and stiffen up due to the weather"
so i was thinking of ways to get around it?

low and behold, !! went out to the X this morning to do the skool run and what was i faced with???? a very stiff door handle when i tried to open the door !!!

i thought theres no freakin way im gonna tug hard on it, so i boiled the kettle and slowly poured boiling water all around the handle !!!

what happened next was a BIG relief !! the handle released and was perfect again !!

so thanking you guys for the prior warning, otherwise i would have just tugged on it and surely broken it
