Hi I  had a search but can not seem to find a post re: correcting / adjusting rear camber. Or did I just imagine it ?

Cheers for any pointers.

Cheers for that, I'll just have to wait for his Rajness to impart his knowledge.

His Rajness is here lol.

Hmmm, there was a thread on the K-Mac poly camber bushes etc. but if you're just trying to adjust the rear camber (standard) setup then there is only one point on both sides at the rear. Looking under the X from the rear the camber is adjusted at the inner rear lower H arm bush. You'll see the offset bolt/washer which when loosened then turned will increase/decrease the camber.

The upper front arm on the rear setup also works in the same way but is for the toe.

Does that help?

Thank you for the replies folks, and Raj thanks as ever for imparting your knowledge on us mortals. I have noticed that the X5 has always had a large camber, but the rear tyres have lasted a year with below average miles. It's just started to rain so it must be time to get outside !

You will find BM's especially the X run negative camber on the rear as standard. The X does seem to have an increased level of negative camber though.

Would members be willing to post a pic of the x 5 from the rear so I can see what it should look like. An iphone shot from 5m behind for some rough kind of consistency would be great. I'm just not sure if mine is excessive and would love some comparison data.

Thanks in anticipation

Ove noticed mine seems to be running less camber than quite a few I've seen about. Will try and remember to take a pic tomorrow.

Thanks, I think mine is a little over that camber. I'm also suspecting the softer winter compound will show uneven wear faster than the regular rubber, right?

Seems to point towards needing attention. No worries, I'd rather it was right.
