This needs some TLC

Post by Raj » Mon Oct 07, 2013 11:32 pm

If I had the money I'd seriously love to bring this back to it's former glory as a magazine feature car.

Mate payed a mere £1200 for it. Needs a fair bit of work and the engine hasn't been turned over in 10 years...hmmm

But what an engine for it's time:

Seats still look good if just a little dusty:

That's a nice project for someone with the time, and a few quid spare.  Change out the oil (warm if necessary with a little electric fan heater.  Large socket an bar on the crank pulley, take all the plugs out and GENTLY see if it will turn......if it does then happy days and then check all the other engine bits.

I'm another fan of the 8 series.  It's even in one of the 'better' colours of the time too.

Agreed Richard.

I look forward to hopefully seeing this returned to it's former glory.

They were talking about the 850 on Fifth Gear last night. Bargain buys compared to the new Vanquish...lol

The wheels look in reasonable nick too.

The 8 was just amazing when it came out, what a great project.

I'll look forward to seeing how this progresses
