Just had this delivered in multitronic )....... 2.0 TDI.  Very nice car, but a bit flat & obviously nowhere near as quick as the 40d.  Anyone got one of these ? & if so have you had it mapped?  It needs pepping up a  bit but not sure of Audi & warranty etc??

Congrats. Nice motor for sure.

Remap will always pepp it up nicely. I'm sure there are other upgrades depending on budget.

Very nice looking car it sits lovely, the 2.0d in my old 520d felt flat too...I wish they would stop making 4 pot diesels hateful engines imo, good for the business user though & when economy is the number one priority they hit the spot.

I usually have straight six diesels......  I see you have a TT.  We have the Black Ed TDI version of that also,  and that's a bit flat aswell.    Petrol I suppose if you want the power over Co Car emissions etc!!

I have a friend with the 2.0 tdi saloon and he said exactly the same, as flat as a witch's t!t was the exact expresion. He had his remapped and he says it now feels like it has a different engine under the bonnet. I cannot comment on the before as he had it done on day 2 of his (demo model so already run in) ownership but I have been it for the after and I can say it is anything but flat now. It won't ever be as quick as the 40d, that goes without saying but it is supprising how quick a 2.0 tdi can be with the right remap.

You have a nice stable of cars :ok: I think the 4 pot diesel works better in different motors the 4 pot in my 5 series wasn't up to the task of shifting its bulk but in a smaller lighter car I would think it isn't an issue & I would have thought a 120d goes well enough.
Couple of pics of the TT.

I was just going to post up that the wife's 120d has been mapped by Jason and it goes really well - just hate the smoke out the back (early model without DPF).

Good stuff I bet the map really makes a difference, I had a 120d come flying by me once in the M3 & I thought that shifts well.

is it yours?

Could have washed it before posting pics :)

Remap will make it better but will invalidate warranty

Really love that colour, blue has always been my favourite on a car, I bet it looks well on those wheels too  8)
