X5 gone again...

Well after 18 months we've decided to move on from the X5.

As good as it is, Mrs. M wanted a smaller car for the school run, the lanes locally are simply too tight and she's scared of doing any damage to the car.

I'll certainly be sad to see it go (she's getting a fully loaded new 120D M Sport) as it's been a wonderful car and they are brilliant family machines.

Not all bad news though........ ::)

My 335i is also history and I've just placed my order for a new F10 M5 

28th November is the current delivery date and I'm a little excited to be honest  Monaco Blue with red interior, will look the dogs for sure.





Still need to keep in touch albeit I wish I had more time to post (unlike some I could mention!)

Is the 120d an xdrive model, (just thinking about local roads & getting down the drive in snow)?

The 1 isn't xDrive, they don't have an auto gearbox in that series, so will have to invest in a winter tyre set up to help.

Yep, may well bring the M5 to the Xmas meal, has a date been set yet?

Can never have enough children - I'm hoping that at least one may become rich enough to keep me in the style to which I'd like to become accustomed!

Yep, bought the wheels off Don for the X so I'll be whacking them on fleabay and buying different ones for the 1 Series I guess!

Thinking now of Silverstone II with black leather, not so 'in yer face' and as I'm catching PVR up and have just turned the dark side if 50, like him I've got to understand I'm on the way out, not in!

If you are in the market for one of these, you won't believe the deals available. BMW clearly want them on the road and they are frankly giving them away.

28th November or thereabouts - seems a long way off at the moment!
