I find that the clarity is much better if I just hold the phone to my ear whilst driving down the motorway at 110

No Bluetooth at present, just the bmw standard flip out screen? Was wondering how hard it was to add as an extra?
Thanks

Get a Parrot kit, you won't regret it. Fraction of the cost of OEM parts.

Parrot MKi9200.. About £150 from Halfords plus fitting..
I had one a year or so back and it was brilliant.

+1. Try and find someone with a good reputation for fitting. You don't want just any old Tom Dick or Harry making a bodge job.

I know I 'kinda knew what I was doing' but in retrospect I was lucky enough to get an older kit for £15 from an old forum member on here and I fitted that myself (of course new or eBay sourced you'll pay more). It's on our 1-Series, not the X but so much better. Hence my comment earlier.
They all have the connectors already made up and you just have to connect them with one wire that needs to be spliced to the positive on the cigarette socket. The hardest thing is getting to the connectors past the dash, etc.
We can all help if you want. I like taking cars apart! :-[

I'd go with a parrot kit tbh. OE is a nice touch but don't think it's as good.
