Today picked up a 3.0d E53 in good condition but the gearbox is toast I've taken the xenon lights for mine (these were the only reason I actually bought the motor..... little bit OTT).

The black window trims (maybe not yet confirmed), wheel arch trims, sills and bm54 are sold.

few other bits might be gone i need to reply to a few posts in another thread but I'll confirm them on here when I know.

Engine has 143K on it but runs really smooth, here's a vid of start up and running:

Its fitted with a newish turbo fitted july last year 13k ago probably sold separately to the engine along with all other engine auxiliaries.

It has the power fold mirrors that I might be persuaded to sell,

It also has the widescreen satnav system which I may keep unless anyone out there has an after market double din preferably with satnav they want to swap for the complete setup inc wiring and dvd drive and tv tuner the whole lot.

Only fault I could find today other than the gearbox was the drivers door exterior door handle doesn't work, all electrics work tried out the stereo, cd changer satnav seat electric ac also works.

but which bit?
I may be interested in the bell housing / pump assy to get mine back from 3.0i petrol to 3.0D spec

Im afraid the rest of the X5 I was breaking is now gone sold as a package deal couldn't turn down the offer it was too good, think the chap plans on putting it back on the road so good luck to him I say.

I'd just like to thank Darren for the bm 54 unit,sills and arches I bought of him luckily we'd done a deal so he still sold them to me cheers mate.
