LED interior bulbs - QUIZ TIME. What goes where ?

Hello, you ever helpful people 

I have had 21 interior LED bulbs delivered, which should be the complete set (including wing mirrors) for my car.

Trouble is, I am usless, AND they came with no instructions 

So the quiz is, WHERE DO THESE BULBS GO ?? Answers not on a postcard, on here would be a great help.

Lol - i'm doing exactly the same mod at the moment! The long flat ones go in the upper tailgate in the boot.

And you have two photos of 39mm ones as quantity 2 and 8. All are for the footwells and under each door and inside top tailgate.

6 in number are interior lights overhead, 3 and 3 (if no sunroof).

2 in number are for the exterior mirror puddle lights as you have no where else to put em!

The 2 @ 8 39mm are different, the eight have larger flat backs.
So where do the different two go?

Also where do the three 41mm ones go?

Which ones are the vanity mirror lights, and the glove box?

Scrap my thoughts! Only the 8 that should go in the footwells and lower part of the doors is all I can think of.

Forgot about the glove box and vanity mirrors!

2 @ 39mm could be inside top tailgate???

Otherwise ask the seller what he/she thinks, don't think you have enough LEDs???

I am now thinking
Two little flat ones for the vanity mirrors
Eight 39mm for footwells and under doors
Two different 39mm for rear tailgate
FOUR of the long six, for roof lining reading lights
Other two of the long six for the external mirror puddle lights
Two of the large 41mm as the front and rear MAIN ceiling lights

Only problem is that leaves a large 41mm for the glove box?!?!?

The seller says how many and for where:

4 x Under Door
4 x Puddle / Footwell
2 x Sunvisor
2 x Under Outside Door Mirror
2 x Boot
1 x Glove box
6 x Roof and Map light

•*ATTENTION:  If you have a Panoramic Roof which is the twin sunroof - after you have clicked buy it now send us a message as the bulb set up is slightly different

Did you see the bit about a Sunroof. Do you have the Sunroof? Did you order the right kit?

I suggest you start in one area of the car and match the bulbs with the new ones when you take the
old ones out..

Yes, I have the glass sunroof, but NOT the panoramic sunroof, seller confirmed this before sending LED's so knew I have the usual glass sunroof.

with the description
4 x Under Door
4 x Puddle / Footwell
can assume are the 8 39mm

2 x Boot
can assume different shape 2 39mm

2 x Sunvisor
can assume are the 2 flat ones, as would imagine smallest bulbs required for vanity mirrors

2 x Under Outside Door Mirror
must assume 2 of the 6 are puddle lights in mirrors as only 'directional' ones that could shine long and down, leaving 4 long and two 41mm for the
6 x Roof and Map light

which still leaves a huge 41mm for
1 x Glove box

which cant be right, can it ?

Checked the roof lights, and my guess was wrong as the 6 must all go there as they are all downward directional ones 

I have had a reply from the seller, and their answer is :

hi, many thanks for getting in touch
x 8 39mm, - under door/ in foot wells
x 2 flat ones, boot
x 6 long ones, 3 front roof 3 back
x 3 41mm glove box and sun visors

which suprises me as the biggest ones are for the sun visors and glove box - blind driver anyone ??

Also that only adds up to 19 and they supplied 21, which means the two 'other' 39mm are for the wing mirrors ? Now I did not imagine the bulbs for the wing mirrors to be shaped like that, anyone ??

Ok - i fitted most of my led lights last night but I couldnt see how to remove the cover of the map light in order to change the three lights in there. Btw i have the pan roof if that makes any difference.

Anyone know how to get the map light cover off???

Will have to check but map light is removed using a small flathead screwdriver from the front as there is a retaining spring clip to hold it in.
